General presentation

If you want to be trained to Economics and Business Management, the Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management  proposes a quality education. This training lasts for three years (six semesters) during which you will acquire a solid basis in economic theory, business management and quantitative techniques. The Bachelor's Degree is voluntarily generalist and multidisciplinary.

During the third year, you will reinforce your knowledge and prepare your admission in a Master's Degree (in the Department FSEG, in School, in Strasbourg or elsewhere). During the fifth semester, the student chooses a speciality either in management or in economics.

Requirements and desirable qualities

  • You wish to understand  business news and discover all aspects of business management.
  • You like quantitative techniques (mathematics, statistics, probabilities)
  • You show an ability to analyze and synthesize
  • You wish to acquire thinking and reasoning abilities and mastering fundamental exercises (essay, commentary, comprehension)
  • You are curious and open-minded.
  • You are persevering and constant.
  • You are organised and autonomous.
  • You have a baccalaureate or equivalent, preferably in Sciences or Economics and Social Sciences.

Learning environment

  • Training will be provided by teachers and researchers and by professionals. The Department of Economics and Management has the largest team of teachers in Economics and Management of the University of Strasbourg.
  • Use the largest university library in Economics and Management of Eastern France.
  • In the Language Ressource Center (Centre de Ressources en Langues-CRL) you have access to numerous DVD in original version and multimedia exercises to practice languages and French as Foreign Language (FLE).
  • Attend conferences linked to business news.

  • With the help for the student success provided during the training you can attend activities to make CV and cover letter.
  • Prepare the certification C2I (Informatic and Internet Certificate)
  • The committee FISE (Training, Insertion, Internship, Job) can help you to find an internship, join the Alumni, find a job.

Help for international mobility

From the second year of the Bachelor's Degree you can benefit from international exchange programs and complete one or two semesters abroad.
