Description
This course is about the main economic issues in a digital economy, i.e. an economy where the marginal cost of producing goods is virtually zero. We will look at the production and distribution of digital content, intellectual property issues, the problems of multi-sided markets, the regulation of digital platforms, etc.

- evaluate the performance of intellectual property rights systems in a digital economy,
- analyse the economic performance of digital platforms,
- understand the main competition policy issues in a digital economy.
